Nutritional value
The avocado has less water than most fruits but the contribution of lipids is much higher, which increases its caloric value. The fats it contains are mostly unsaturated (monounsaturated), especially the high content of oleic acid.
It is a source of vitamin E – of high antioxidant power – and vitamin C and vitamin B6.
