In 2003 a group of entities decided to join forces and create Onubafruit with the aim of meeting the commercial needs of their partners.
This organization is based on the cooperative principles and encourages the participation and integration of people who develop a common project to reconcile social, business and personal progress.
Our model has proven to be efficient, placing us as the reference in the berries sector at a European level.
We are owned by growers
We are owned by the Onubafruit’s growers and brings together more than 1000 farming families throughout the province of Huelva. Experience has taught us to trust in collective action to achieve goals, solve problems and improve coexistence. We believe in the benefit maintained over time, for the farmer and for the place where he lives and works, to maintain the activity and to create a whole value chain linked to individual work. The benefits of the farmers stay in the places where they live and make them prosper too.

Onubafruit relies on solidarity commitments and uses democratic methods for its organisation and management.
